So, I got a call from Portland. It almost sounds more appealing.

He told me their design department is green and cost of living is pretty reasonable.

The thing that amused me the most was that the guy Carlos sounded so much like Larry. He seemed really laid back and was helpful.

I hope I didn't make an ass of myself. I'm always afraid of that when I talk to people on the phone about something like this.

I have a phone interview with him already. He said he didn't want to waste paper by sending me a bunch of information he could give me on the phone and in email. I liked that idea. That's wheh he told me the entire design department went green.

He seemed almost competitive over CO. It's nice to think that a school could want to compete like that. So, I'm going to do the interview and maybe weigh the pros and cons of each place. But the green thing is a really big pro for Portland.
